This Doesn’t Define Me is a nonprofit led by young people, expanding access to resources, support, and leadership opportunities for transgender, immigrant, and other marginalized young adults ages 18 and older across the Southeastern United States.

Through culturally relevant organizing and mentorship, we connect with young adults, especially in rural communities, to build belonging and support the next generation of community leaders. We help participants navigate housing and employment insecurity, access gender affirming resources and everyday essentials, and develop the skills and confidence to lead in their own communities.
